DEFINITION OF GRAFTING:
"joining parts of two different-but closely related-plants so they will grow as one."
(Sunset Western Garden Book, 7th ed., 2001)
Welcome to Grandpa Campbell's Grafted Gardenias! We're grafting the usual acid-loving varieties of beautiful-blooming gardenia plants onto a superior rootstock that prefers alkaline soil. This creates a new plant that draws the nutrients needed for lush, green growth and beautiful blooms in local soils which may be alkaline-based.
Be sure to plant one of Grandpa Campbell's Grafted Gardenias in your garden. With our plants' strong roots and beautiful blooms, we're sure your efforts will be...well, almost effortless!
